Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 lb grass-fed bison meat
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary (dried or fresh)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive or avocado oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl pour rosemary, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper, and olive oil onto defrosted meat. Using your hand mix the spices with the meat. Don’t over-mix.
  2. Make four even round balls of meat using your hands and place them on parchment paper. Press down lightly until you have the desired round patty.
  3. Allow patties to rest in spices for 10 minutes while you heat your frying pan on medium heat with the 2 tablespoons of avocado oil or olive oil.
  4. Place patties in the hot frying pan and cover with a lid. Fry for 5 minutes on 1 side. Flip, and fry for 5 minutes on the other side.
  5. Remove and garnish with fresh rosemary and enjoy!
  6. Any leftover patties can be stored in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 4 days,
