  • Measuring cups

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown rice (this will make 2 cooked cups)
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse your rice. Let soak for 30 minutes (optional).
  2. Pour your avocado oil or olive oil into your instant pot.
  3. Pour rice and water in and add salt. Stir.
  4. Secure the lid and set the pressure to high, and cook for 30 minutes. Let pot naturally release.
  5. Once the pin drops, open pot, and spoon the rice to fluff it up.
  6. You can store your rice in an airtight container for 4-5 days. Enjoy!
