Equipment

  • mixing jar

Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut water (you can use water if desired).
  • 2 tablespoons turmeric (ground or powdered)
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • juice from 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Ground your fresh turmeric.
  2. In a mason jar or mixing jar, add your coconut water, turmeric, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. You can serve these in 2 fluid oz shot glasses or store them in small glass bottles in your refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

If using powdered turmeric you will want to dissolve the shots in a hot drink upon consumption.
